Extending Limbs, Raising Champions

The IREDE Foundation (TIF) is an NGO focused on encouraging children living with limb loss (either acquired or congenital) to live a life of fulfillment The Irede Foundation commonly known as TIF, was established in Nigeria in 2012 to inspire action so child amputees, their families and caregivers can live independent and limitless lives; through provision of prosthetic limbs to child amputees from ages 0-18, disability advocacy, support groups for caregivers, and skills development trainings for PLDs.

Our Focus

Our main goal is to support the African children who has lost a limb through:

We are focused on educating caregivers and the society on congenital and acquired limb loss; and how to relate and care for children with this kind of loss.
We are focused on empowering the African child living with limb loss to live his or her life to the fullest; having equal access to life’s opportunities like every other African child.
We understand the challenges these children and their families face daily, and desire to be there for them when they need encouragement and support.

Vision

Every child amputee, a champion, living without the limitations of the missing limb. As a result, we will empower child amputees to live self-sufficient lives free of social stigmatization through education and encouragement
