Now in its 9th Year, The Irede Foundation goes Out-On-A-Limb in April 2022 to Promote Inclusion and raise critical funds for 100 children with Limb Loss across Nigeria.
In the past 9 years, the Irede Foundation has held the Out-On-A-Limb awareness walk in the Month of April which is also the month dedicated to raising awareness for âLimb Lossâ globally; to raise funds for children living with limb loss in Nigeria, to spotlight the challenges peculiar to children and limb loss, whilst also celebrating their uniqueness, strength and their ability to thrive against all odds.
With the theme of this yearâs walk, âIREDIANS,â the advocacy walk aims to spotlight and promote the first-ever disability comic book in Africa, âIrediansâ which was launched in November 2021 to highlight the active participation of children with disabilities who are fighting against peer discrimination.
